Objective of the role

Vectorform Senior UI/UX Designers champion the pre-production phases including, but not limited to, project planning, wireframe creation, prototypes, design systems, UX documentation, proof of concept creation, and technical integration of both external and internal initiatives. As a visionary Sr. Designer, the candidate will have proven consumer design experience for computing and/or and mobile devices. The candidate will be a part of a truly talented, multi-disciplinary team collaborating with other Interaction Visual Designers, Motion Designers, Information Architects, Developers and Engineers.

 

Responsibilities

Interaction Design Leverage user/stakeholder insights, generated through user research and team collaboration to allow for the creation of comprehensive, fluid, valuable, intuitive and engaging experiences. The candidate will have an understanding of human factors and an emphasis on establishing cohesive user interface design that will surprise and delight consumers. Knowledge and/or experience in developing design systems is preferred.

 

Experience Architecture Provide a holistic view of the experience, as well as vertical knowledge of industry, information, and systems. The candidate will work with internal and client teams to analyze and clearly document user flows to help identify key points of focus when developing the user experience including frontend and backend structures of the application. Experience in creating deliverables such as user personas, user journey mapping, and information architecture are required.

 

Visual/Graphic Design (V/GD): Vectorform designers turn wire-frames/prototypes into visual designs that are both user friendly and adhere to brand guidelines and established design systems They rely on keen understanding of graphical elements, heuristics, artistic technique, workflow, and art direction. Ability to design/create user interface animations is a bonus.

 

Required skills/years of experience

  • The ability to build and communicate value around creative deliverables
  • Proven experience in driving the development of frameworks for customer experience; execute top-level deliverables based on user-centered design techniques
  • Has lead the creation of insight-driven compelling presentations for solutions and deliverables
  • Can support Design Directors and project teams in three core disciplines listed above
  • Willingness to engage in communication activities by driving award submissions and speaking engagements.
  • 4-6 years of experience in UX/UI Design and/or the ability to prove skillset proficiency

 

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Working knowledge with the following software: Sketch, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects.
  • Nice to have experience with: Confluence, JIRA
